Another Man Hangs

Another Man Hangs

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

As a god... (Charles Vane's words in quotations, I barely wrote this f*****g thing)

"

"To fear death is a choice"

To sacrifice everything is no burden

"They are few"

We are righteous

"They brought me here to show you death"

To take vigor from you

"And use it to frighten you"

To make you forget

"That we are many!... That they can't hang us all!"

And in whatever remorse we carry

Whatever we choose to tell them

Before the hanging;

Bellow your last breath... f**k it all and scream defiantly like this

There is nothing I have that you are capable of taking from me...

Not one f*****g thing.... I am free

No matter how you kill me

We are all free men and you're the f*****g thief

I will die today so they may kill you tomorrow

"Get on with it mother fuckers"

(another man hangs like a legend)
