Divide by One

Divide by One

A Poem by Davidgeo

I do divide by one, I cut my tongue in two.

Talk myself out a struggle; another, into one.

I do not need an answer! I play The Game for fun.

Talk myself into a notion; my brother, to the other.

I do not need an answer! The Fight is all I need.

Talk yourself into disaster; from myself now? More stoned faced laughter.

~

We do not need an answer; we have no need to talk like that,

We have no need at all.

~

From the scorching sun

To the bitter cold

We need no reason, We need no answer

We still exist and good god damn it...

Anything to enhance the laughter... I'll do anything at all.

I've tried disaster... it's worth the fall.

I love confusion... so exciting!

Broken hearts? Happy endings?

It's all the same.

It ends the same.

Never divide by one though, that was my only mistake thus far, so.... yeah, don't do that.
