The Smoke Man

The Smoke Man

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"

There are men who calmly tell you things with fierce eyes

Guiding furiously calm conversations; and again, this happens indefinitely.

I say,

"The Old Man", he would be proud

Despite alien propositions

Amongst foriegn oppositions

We must remember

What we choose to forget

With fierce eyes and furious calm

Indefinitely

Until you can't

It never really changes

Not really

I feel this has many meanings to it. I could be wrong. I relate so well to this. Good read.

You're so right. Nothing really changes. It's all still there. Humanity wont change we can only do what we think is right as individuals. Strong write. Thanks for sharing.
