Red Museum

Red Museum

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

Consumed by a Red Giant (video that follows, the wonder of the sun... prologue to your doom) Beauty... all around. I do promise.

"

I was born out of a red museum

Into a large cosmic garbage truck

Pirouetting in an office

Around the most standoffish of bosses

Evolved like a dream of dust motes

The sound of an impeccable silence!

Feels real each and every time

I do and do not hear it

He's going to eat us you know?

Swallow us whole!

With an appetite and not much around

We are snacks in an ice box

Soon for the oven

Each and every time

Perhaps a few billion years left for the Earth, but I don't suppose humans will be around to see the end.

Snack in an ice box, soon for the oven.
