It is no exaggeration to say that I cried when I first read this poem. What is more surprising, though, is that was in no way moving. Honest, pellucid, or sentimental; simply manipulative and mawkish in its declarative tone, and I am left with the sense that my tears were tears of laughter, and just a little sympathy for the author who clearly has a c**k worship issue.
