The first line, 'all dead men fly' reminded me of the character "Blue Duck" of Lonesome Dove fame. Turns out he couldn't fly. Anyways, back to the writing itself; education(or even promoting through the ranks). Though it seems harsh and it is, to call a person an 'abortion' it's not a new concept. It is, however, a powerful one. Seems it's true in today's world that one graduates the system for reasons having nothing to do with earned. We're simply phasing people in and out and taking their money along the way. I mean, after all, it would be politically incorrect to flunk someone out of a system for any reason. Can't hurt someone's feelings. Failure used to be an option.
