Forever blurred

Forever blurred

A Poem by Samantha
"

The world of a visually impaired girl

"

My world will forever be blurred

Around the Edges

But that's okay

Once one sense

Is failing

Another is amplified

For me

That is my hearing

Even if I cant see

Your face

I can hear your voice

I have no idea

What the color of your eyes are

Or if you have freckles

But I know your voice

Is kind and gentle

Or rough and tough

I forget faces

Because I never see them

But voices are in my memory

Forever

I may not see

But I listen
