MomA Poem by SamanthaA poem to my mother, RoseMom You brought me into the world I saw the light I took my first breath And as I cried You said “Pleased to meet you” If I had known how to talk I would have said “Please to meet you, too” You are the only gal for me And I love you Mom I looked nothing like you Mom But people can tell That we are mother And daughter By the way we laugh together And chat together And fight Mom When we found out about My having albinism You were right there Holding me tight As I cried When Grandma died You went away But I realized That you did it To get better And be able to protect me once again I hug and kiss you Every night Because I know That you’re always there To hug and kiss me back Mom
