Daddy?

Daddy?

A Poem by Samantha
"

A little girls point of veiw on abuse

"

Daddy? Where are you going?
Daddy! How could you do that!
Daddy! You're hurting her!
Daddy! Don't leave!
Daddy! You hurt Mommy!
How could you Daddy?
Daddy! You can't leave!
Daddy! You made Mommy cry!
Why Daddy?
I love you Daddy!
You love me too!
I know it!
Even if you never kissed me
Or hugged me
The way you hugged Mommy
You still loved me.
I know you did.
Daddy! I love you!
Don't go Daddy!
I'll do anything Daddy!
Mommy is very sad!
Daddy.
Where are you?
I miss you Daddy.
I love you Daddy.
How could you Daddy?

Powerful. It captures the feelings of a child in despair, and the spiritual bond kids have with their parents. Even bad parents.

Awww, that is very very sad. But, the poem is very very good. I hope you continue with these types of poems. Nice Job!
