Painted

Painted

A Poem by Lissa

White,
fresh and brand new
I'm cautious and guarded
surrounded by pure blank canvas.
Untouched

Amber,
warmth and sunlight
you fill me with color
marbled and splashing against walls.
Your art

Lilac,
soothing and soft
your sweet scent that lingers
locked in the fabric of linen.
Brush strokes

Scarlet,
passion and flame
your heated flesh on mine
vivid images on canvas.
Paint me
