wow.... this leaves a nice feeling... and I can almost feel the breeze blowing against my cheeks... the imagery you've developed in this poem is brilliant. really enjoyed :) and good to see the positive ending :)) Having felt already that true love is so hard to find (maybe impossible, at times), reading this poem gives me hope that perhaps one day, the "one" will come along. thank you for sharing this beautiful poem :)

Thank you Kath for your kind review...
Glad you enjoyed:)
This is a well thought out piece. What I really like about this is that it is focused upon the more positive aspects of love and loss, without becoming cloyingly sappy. It has a good strong meaning, good visuals, and says what needs to be said without resorting to what I call "Hallmark Filler" - meaningless words that are only there to take up space.
Very well written, Lisa. And a well placed positive sentiment.

Very Nice, I like this. Short but very sweetly done, I tried to think of a better way to put it, but you left me speechless and lost in thought. Something few people can do. Well done!
My passion from an early age was always reading.... getting lost and transformed into another time or place by words so cleverly placed.... this passion transformed to writing with passion and persona.. more..
