A Poem by TheNewerLisa
"

Unable to hold onto our dreams, they slip away

"

The dawn shakes me from my kaleidoscopic dream
Deep reaching down the light impedes
My insight
Small dogs whimpering at my side
Forcing me to swim against the tide
Of my own nature.
Where was I
A moment ago before
The light rushed in to claim me
A landscape of my inner vision
Dimmed in the instant of awakening
Slipping away but still
I see the horizon
A figure there but no face
Fading somberly from my consciousness
Losing the moment
the immediacy
Of the day begins.

Great visual here. Was this posted before...it sounds very familiar. Just wondering if you reposted without matching to reviews. Anyway, nothing worst then being pull from an excellent slumber!
