Shut out

A recent feeling that I've gone through.

In a moment tears rose, mourning choked, and disbelief set in.

"How could you do this?"

"What did I do to deserve it?"

Something inside changed.

On the verge of tears, but full of anger.

"You did wrong!"

"I do not deserve this!"

The split second I see you, everything calms.

Nothing is wrong.

"Good for you."

"You definitely deserve it."

I smirk and shut the door.
