Sevilla

Sevilla

A Poem by LisaButterfly

My soul responds
I cry
I love watching people dance
Their cry in their voice
On their face emotion
Expression
Every muscle on their face used to express
A story
A body which needs to move to show them
I saw them enjoy their own body
As if they had their own internal feedback system
I think I like the solitude of the silouette
A dance I can't do
I cried seeing the walls of the alcazar
As I touched the engravings Allah
I felt connected to the people who carved them and their struggle
Seville
Oh how you have shown me
Elegance
Refinement
Romance
Beauty
Fusion of cultures in flamenco
Thank you
Elegance
Plain blind washed walls
Baroque
Symmetrical
White lime and a hint of yellow
