Crimson Butterfly

Crimson Butterfly

A Poem by liquidlandmine
"

this is for the school where now i am at, the school whose inane censorship have bound ilurvkinilaw and i towards unnecessary limits.

"

Crimson butterfly,

I hope to kiss the lips

Which cuts our quills

And touches only hamlet’s ears.

The lips, which suck dry our ink"

The only liquid in our veins.

My blood is no nectar,

So why not rather lock with mine"

Face-to-face, lips-to-lips?

Eye-to-eye and make bliss on hallucinated amity;

Why not be blind for my hope

And kiss me Crimson butterfly?

I hope to kiss you Butterfly,

And share the enmity in my lips,

And see the crimson hue liquefy;

For you dried us most!

We whose food is paper

And whose blood is ink.
