Inspired

I am just debating whether or not i should start a new relationship and when wrote about it this is what came to me.

To long have i kept my ink in check

An kept the talents of my pen hidden from the world

But tonight i let my ink flow like the oil of OPEC

Words once restricted now unfurled

Are you the reason why

Can i credit you for my sudden insperation

Has you interest allowed me to grab these words an not let them fly by

Is your charisma the cause of my narration

You know there was another who took residence in my heart

He once made me glow like a candle in the dark

But my love faded and what we had fell apart

Creatively i died before you became my spark

Now when i think of you all i can do is smile

When i look ahead i see great potential for us

I don't know the future but i do know this

A relationship with you would be more than worthwhile
