Worlds

Worlds

A Poem by Kate

a million stars away, somewhere
a boy lies on his bed
conjuring up worlds and worlds of
perfection; the kind that
we cannot even begin to imagine.
he laughs and runs his hands
through his auburn hair
as he muses to himself about
death and desire
and how maybe destiny
is just one big tapestry
constantly unraveling itself

a million stars away, somewhere
a boy lies on his bed
and I lie here, conjuring up the worlds;
the universes of perfection
that he left with me
to remember him by

thank you. :)
It is actually very good! I can see you have talent to project yourself in a oposite sex character. In the beginning i though you wrote from the boy's point of view writing it at the 3rd person at the same time..don't know if I make sense?

Nevertheless, very sweet and soft poem. Great repetition.

this is beautiful but I think you have a long way to go.
Loved the choice of words like "one big tapestry", "auburn hair" and "conjuring up"

Keep it up!
