soulless bodies half alive no ability to love no ability to smile animal instinct each man for himself tear mindlessly at the flesh of other rotten beings.
Somehow this poem seems like it should have been the epigraph for the whole book of "Lord of the Flies". Don't you agree? If we give in to the natural instinct of mankind, things will go horribly, horribly wrong. The entire world would be in ruins, and every human being would be like an animal. So glad I'm a Christian :-). Great job!
