Crimson Tears

Crimson Tears

A Poem by Jess: ~The Sidekick~

The trail of crimson tears
makes its way;
Streaking slowly away from her fresh wound,
symbolizing the pain she's felt for years.
But with one more swift slice,
she's been soothed;
no more pain or fear.
Everything is but a memory;
something written in a long-lost diary.
The pages stained with her crimson tears.

Can I just say that I absolutely love this. The imagery is very poignant. I agree with the morbid comment, at the same time, I must admit I do the same as well.

Funny how we collect all of our pain into a diary and hide it away with all our pain and all our tears. I like how dark you are. How romantically morbid.
