Sonnet of Celestial Elegance

Sonnet of Celestial Elegance

A Poem by Jess: ~The Sidekick~
"

English 12.

"

With the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen,
And lips beyond compare in their softness,
Her skin is fair with an ethereal sheen.
One feels her laugh as a mindful caress,
A voice to match, silvery and surreal.
Her face is cherubic, cheeks are just right.
Looks of innocence, a means to conceal,
An intellect and lover of the night.
Her curves are perfect, yet she's still slender.
Holding the subtle beauty of angels,
A gift of supernatural splendor.
When in compare to models, they are mangled,
In this love names are meaningless, not needed,
Love eternal, never to be superceded.

I like.

What would make it even better would be an artist's rendering, then we could fully see this angelic beauty for ourselves, with our imperfect eyes.

But even without, a good read, especially with a need to rhyme.
