Gloves

i woke up and wrote it..

 I know I'm different..

I can slip in and out of each of my worlds

Like slipping on an old pair of gloves

One pair is perfectly white

never daring to have a spot of dirt

never meant to destroy or hurt

they lay elegantly in my lap as i sit numb

 pressed under society's thumb

The other gloves,  au contraire 

happen to be my favorite pair

they're thick, old, crimson and brown

they're used to dig up the earthly ground

for which to use before my demise

and my ascent into the skies

to dig out all the unsightly graves

in which to have my enemies lay....

Good work, I liked the phrase "society's thumb". I wouldn't watch the meter (with regards to your rhyme) of this poem. Great and interesting way of using gloves to reveal the nuances of the society we're apart of.
