I Am

I Am

A Poem by ♥ Courtney ♥

if i knew who i was

id tell you

but honestly

theres not much to say

i talk too much

i laugh too loud

i cry too often

i act too proud

i b***h too much

i whine always

i smile too big

i stay angry for days

i slack in school

i dont study, i cram

if you dont like it, get over it

it's just the way I am...

...Yes, you are Courtney... and how very honest you appear here, something so very often missed in these days of style, style, style. Thank you for writing such an open piece.

Nice and lovely... :) I don't know what else to say.. I'm not much of a reviewer... so I'd just say I loved it! :D

The last line reminds me of a song that said 'its just the way i am". Succinct and honest, and there's zero rhyme in the poem (which probably makes me more biased!)

sincere and tender, this poem is soft and yet very relatable, great work!

You sound so totally human! Nothing wrong with that.. love the sincerity in your lines.

Well scribed.

I loved the honest, flowing feel of this write. Your desire to be accepted for who you are. Excellent.
