Let Me Add A 'Lil Fuel To Your Fire Baby

Let Me Add A 'Lil Fuel To Your Fire Baby

A Poem by ♥ Courtney ♥
"

pyro moment >:-)

"
The flames that are your hands
Lick at my skin so deliciously
The warmth of your hot skin searing
Right
Through
Mine
Is maddening.

 Let me be your fuel

The ether that is my skin
Will burst you into my own fire
As our mouths collide
The arsenic in my lips
And the fire on your tongue
Will bring the city to ruins
In our own
Personal
E X P L O S I O N

Let me be your accelerant

The acetone on my fingertips
Will light a fiery trail
Right down your body
As I lightly trace my initials
Into
Your
Skin

We'll create our own little cocktail
Of Gasoline
Kerosene
And we'll bring the whole world
To its knees
And with our burning passion and desire...
We will set the whole world on fire...

Wow, This is interesting, because of the many different interpretations it could have. I see meaning on multiple levels and with different purposes. Fire, and fuel as a symbol of passion, and at the same time the literal connotation of fire and fuel is great. The end brings about thoughts of appocolypse. Or the end could mean the intentions that the sexual relationship will be the end of the world for others. I like it!

Perfectly written! The images brought to mind in this poem brought me instantly into your mind set the more deeply I read into this piece. Love and compassion drip deeply into my soul from this. You have a way of writing in this piece that rings of the spontaniousness of love passion. I hope to see much more of your work.

Many different words to describe 'fire'. Very emptional piece. Isnt if funny how helpful and useful but how so dangerous the flame can be?

provokes thought, I like it.

Wow. I like its intensity. No, it is not bad. Burn it up! :) I think you would like my poem "A Passionate Fire". Check it out sometime if you get a chance.

i am a sucker for fire,
ever since i was 3 years old and got hold of my first box of matches unsupervised.

its not bad, a little rough perhaps but in no way bad.
bad is when you stop reading and think "i just wasted my life."

what i found funny was this
"The acetone on my fingertips "
i guess only a girl would see that clear connection ^^

thanx for sharing

The last two lines are fantastic! It reminds me of a Johnny Cash song that was actually written by the love of his life, and wife, June, but it is your own words with even a greater burning passion.
Falling in love.
Not just the making love.

I'm melting.
