A Poem by lioness
"

Short for eating disorder; song lyrics based around the side affects that this disease has.

"

What happens when

you take the words from a poet,

replace them numbers,

and bones to inforce it.

And it hurts to see

your heart is broken

as well as your body,

faded and so thin.

The back door out,

still leads to nowhere

This isn't fate, you could change

but you don't care.

"Is it just me or is it

getting colder in here?"

You shiver and then

shake the ice from you hair...

A permanent winter

where the snow is your skin,

the leaves in the trees dance

to the breath that is cold wind,

all the fire in the world couldn't

warm you, my friend,

and I wonder a morbid thought:

how cold will you get at the end?

Will you still see through the

spots in your eyes?

As you fade away will you

sleep through goodbyes?

Will the blackouts save you from

the thorns in your side?

Does an endless winter

bring an eternal night?

this was beautifully written, it gave me chills just reading it. if you have the E.D. then I'm really sorry, I have no idea what its like but I know it must be hell.

"You shiver and then
shake the ice from you hair..." I really like this bit, you've got a good style, well written.

About
I prefer to live alone, rather than with a bunch of people. Maybe one other person who doesn't mind pressing themselves against me while I sleep; other than that, it's excess. I put a song on repeat .. more..
