Would You Love Me?

Would You Love Me?

A Poem by Lizzie
"

Is it possible to be loved no matter what? How much what? We are all still hoping unconditional love is real. It is what we all really want.

"

Would you love me if I got old;
Would you love me if my spirit turned cold?

Would you love me if I was afraid;
Would you love me if no money I made?

Would you love me if addiction took its hold;
Would you love me if my soul I sold?

Would you love me if another I beheld;
Would you love me if my beauty paled?

Would you love me if my good name went away;
Would you love me if my hair turned gray?

Would you love me if my words were bitter;
Would you love me if I became a quitter?

Would you love me each and every day;
Would you love me no matter what I say?

Would you love me is what I want to know;
Would you love me please tell me before I go.
