Tears

I like to write lyrics, and here is one of my very new from yesterday.

Tears are falling

Tears are a silent language of grief

Tears are running

Tears are a kind of relief

But crying isn't always

The easiest way to run away

 

Walking in the rain

While nobody can see me cry again

Does the tears prove

That I'm not strong anymore?

Do I ever move?

So I can face an open door?

A life long question...does life continue after great emotional loss? Only time will tell if you ever face that open door. Oh, and when you do face that open door, don't forget to go through it or you'll never know what's just on the other side, unless of course, they are glass doors; then you could see right through them. Hmmm, yet another dilema. Seriously though, this was a very touching and moving piece of work, not harsh or filled with anger or hate, just a painful heart.
