I have a deep conviction that our lives are eternal, that it is waking and sleeping, that we are born together with the people we love lifetime after lifetime.
The atmosphere of inter-world longing and waiting jumps off the page here, and curiously evokes Cathy in Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights, a ghostly, heart driven calling. In the poem we have "another world" where in the novel it was about either side of the grave. This is more ambiguous, could be a case of parallel universes, or successive incarnations. But the latter seems more plausible, as the sense of endless recurring until something is resolved, artfully conjured in the way the line slips slowly down the lines in successive verses, has a karmic feel. And the first line of the second verse stands out as the perfect description of the essence of being in a relationship. Beautifully crafted.

Thank you, Susan. I appreciate you and your kind words.
With a soft, almost wispy, feel you've gathered your skillful quill to dip into stardusted ink in rendering a perfect French Quatern, making the most discerning poetess or bard wish they'd created any one of the uniquely original lines dancing here before us upon the page.
Your refrain flows seamlessly as it steps down through each verse, as glowing out through the spirit of each line after and before.
As You, I, too, embrace the wondrous notion our connected loving energies endure throughout all eternity, and that in this cosmic flow we blend and meld as light through water, our souls and spirits become united to touch again 'n again 'n again........✨

I love this. I love how the repeating line moves down in the stanzas. I also love the message enclosed in the lines. And lines, there are do many that touched me, that I could repeat as well. I truly enjoy your style. Beautiful.

Thank you, Will. It is always a pleasure to hear your thoughts. I am honored.
Poetry has been my passion since I was about fifteen years old, and I love the structure of rhyme and meter moreso than just randomly throwing words upon a page without any form whatsoever.
