I am forever that girl that gets really excited about a pretty sky.
The sun is singing a poem of praise painting the shadows with its golden rays. I witness such glory for all to see absorbing the light so it shines in me.
For all of the world and its broken parts, may it mend the forgotten, fractured hearts and chase the shadows forever away with the bright light of love every day.
Your excitement is evocative and captivating to an olde bard's soul and senses … though brief, this is so much more vast than the boundary of its words.
In gazing into your picture, at how spiritually captive you must (vicariously) be, I could spend happy hours there with you in that glorious setting. I love sky and most all of Nature … it sweeps me awayyyy⁓*
I actually feel love emanating out from the entirety of this gently rousing presentation, and literally with every picture flowing by in the sooo sweetly soothing music, a wonderful sensation of happiness touched either my mind, heart, or soul … some all of them, all of me.
You've brimmed my eyes with the tender touch of this … it just feels so genuinely reflective of its author's true heart.
Thank you, Dear Linda Marie, for the lovely poetic touch! ⁓ Richard 🍃
Linda Marie, I studied the photo several minutes before reading this poem, and your words brought even more light and warmth to this reader. I can see her facing the sun, perfectly positioned to enjoy the best view of the sun and feel it's warm rays. I see a resilient woman who has experienced pain and loss, but one who remains not only hopeful but convinced love exists as surely as that sun, whether rising or falling. Eight artistically created lines that make their own picture.
Would love to come storm chasing in the state's but my wife tells me I am to old and it is far to dangerous :(
The natural world is awesome but far to few take then time to open their eyes to it ( her !)
Good morning

Perhaps, you could come, brining her with you, and leisurely travel to enjoy the views. There are so many beautiful places to visit, to witness, and see. Thank you for the visit and for saying hello.
I would be happy to be sitting on that rock with you....I am the same...ever since i was little...i am just mesmerized by beautiful skies, even the threatening skies...
each is so different in its own way...and so perfect.
and many don't notice them...too busy being busy with their lives.
this poem means a lot to me.
I feel a part of the Poets' Sky Club.

I remember returning to work with a group of co-workers one day, and I guess I remarked one too many times about how beautiful the sky and mountains were in the distance. Finally, one of them spoke up and said, "Yes, and you're beautiful too," in a sarcastic tone of voice. LOL! I'm also the type to stop and smell the roses, literally. I dropped my vehicle off down the street from where I work at a service station to get some work done. As I was walking back to work, there was a rosebush on the side of the walkway; and I stopped to smell the roses. Then, thinking of that saying, I laughed out loud, shaking my head, wondering what drivers were thinking as they drove past. I guess this is the type of adult you turn out to be when you run barefoot as a child.
Poetry has been my passion since I was about fifteen years old, and I love the structure of rhyme and meter moreso than just randomly throwing words upon a page without any form whatsoever.
