Light and lovely, indeed... There was such a rushing sense of freedom in this piece, whether intended or not. I feel as though I am a little lighter in my own body and mind after the reading. I like the play on "Lotus", as a position and as a flower. Your imagery is always so well done.
Rather clever acrostic here, leading into a very erotic piece. I don't think you're capable of writing anything that isn't sensual and erotic, Linda, and here you've done it again. Don't know what Padmasana is, but I'll try anything once, lol.

Everytime I see the word, 'Lotus' I think erotic. I read this poem and I did feel a sense of self. A force, actually. There was peace winding in the body. The beautiful body entwined with rays of sun, reaching and opening up. This lotus flower is lovely. Nicely done. Angi~
I don't know how you can say this poem isn't erotic, but in any case, it has a lovely calming effect in the end.

If it had been, her petals would have wilted and you would be swooning. :-) Thank you for reading and for taking the time to review. I appreciate the feedback so much.
Quite the image you have instilled... leaves me quietly breathing and with a soft smile.

I read and reviewed your poem about your visit to Barnes and Noble before seeing this review. It's nice to see you here, as I haven't seen you in a while. I hope that you're doing well and that inspiration is running through your veins. :-)
Poetry has been my passion since I was about fifteen years old, and I love the structure of rhyme and meter moreso than just randomly throwing words upon a page without any form whatsoever.
