Cliche!

Cliche!

A Poem by Linear
"

Bored was all

"
Cliche Cliche
A little like olay olay
on roads of common ground I write
Seeking that line, that single marvelous line
that no one wrote before.

Cliche Cliche
Platitudes grey
(do they have a colour)
Silver bows on golden saphire trays
trinkets with muskets and saltpeter

Cliche Cliche
The boy stood on the burning deck
no he wasnt playing cricket
(why not)
because, I guess he was flaming well full of rickets

Cliche Cliche
All the words have been used
each sentence over used
the paragraphs scream of syntax lost
and as for me

I'm off to have my tea!!!

Your writing never ceases to impress my friend ( that's cliche , right? )
This is an incredible piece reflective of a writer full of wit.

'Cliche Cliche

What more can I say? (It will all be cliche anyway. Lol.). Keep them coming!!
