The Fall of Giants

The Fall of Giants

A Poem by Linear
"

not much

"
In tender moments
of swirling rainbows heat
butterfly wings and all such foolish things

Tempt the heart
to transgress, pass over the border
to the sly temptress

Now inside the chamber beat
in rage
and temper to outreach

A maiden soft and so demure
to cast a spell
at this my door!

To laugh is my want
but to fall is my disgrace
you know my heart cant win this race.

I woke up to this well-crafted piece with vivid descriptions and wonderful expressions. The Fall Of Giants.

A maiden soft and so demure
to cast a spell
at this my door!

These lines have a lot of meaning lurking in them. The flow of this piece also caught my eye. Nicely done.

I love this very much. The description, the picture, and general organization of words was just wonderful.

A grammatical error, *cant* should be can't unless you mean to lean to one side as in list. That aside, I love the imagery here. I can certainly see flutterbies stirring the rainbow heat. It has a morose side yet still, somehow, uplifting as well. Very Nice...!

I like the photo and the amazing words. The poem is needed to be read a few times. Flow of word and hidden stories allowed the reader to ponder many things. I like the combination of thoughts leading to a very good ending. Thank you for the excellent poem.
