"

Insane Rage

"
Writing home
Though I know
You're not alone

Should I tell you
What life is like
My life anyway

Would you read
Do you care
Will you leave me in dispair

Missing you and all you do
Lonely nights
Shivering

Wet with fear
Damp in anger
Dripping with rage

We wait our turn
Hear the sound
So loud it deafens

Panic sets stomach turning
Barbed wire stretched
And yearning

Do you care
Echo's
Through my mind

Noise, heat, biting hard
Legs of jelly
Skin so white

Rain, mud and bloody death
Men in arms hang on the line
Red are the poppies like our blood

AND DO YOU REALLY CARE

One of the saddest picture of war. Look at the dis-concern of the walking Soldiers. War make men cold and listless. They must carry the memories in the hidden parts of their minds. Rebirth later. I like the desire of this poem. A excellent poem.

This is one of the very few pictures that sends my emotions into turmoil, and just like the picture, your poem grabs my heart and grips it with a deathly strength...

"Red are the poppies like our blood" that last line is so sad it makes my tears flow....beautifull, yet eerie...

Tears! That's the saddest poem I believe I've ever read! The words brought tears as well as chills and then the picture came into view and i felt even more!
