RibbonsA Poem by LinearWho can tell the hearts conditionRibbons float on the wind
Furl and flutter high, twisting, turning flying Yet grass stains remain Ribbons twirl up to the clouds of cumulus Hovering banners swooping Still the blades have left their mark Ribbons falling reflecting light Tumble down to hit the ground Morning dew has left its due upon my seat Ribbons lying in trodden mud Ribbons hope trampled left where they may Green was the grass turned to brown leaving a stain upon my frame © 2011 LinearAuthor's Note
