The MalestromA Poem by LinearSeek and ye may findRising up out of the storm
Hailstone winds lash Twist, cut rivers of blood across skin turned red Dust and grit strake bloodshot eyes Yet you see a way out Casting aside your demons You lash out in panic Blinded by the light of knowledge The only truth you ever knew Was taken so roughly away from you Steel bands tie you down as winds rip flesh Still the silence in your brain, stays exactly the same As a man born to shrivel and die You do not cry But the malestrom sings its song Relentlessly © 2011 LinearReviews
