The song of the seagull

The song of the seagull

A Poem by Linear
"

Sea,Salt and Sand

"
Seas of ocean blue
Waves of a salty hue
Swells of highs and lows
Memories of life do flow

White tipped waves pierce sand
Wash clean upon the strand
A lone walrus bellows it's cry
Needs the maid to sing a lullaby

Myriads of stars gleam in the night
Sparkling light in the afterglow
Dreams they float
On ebb tide
Waters trickle from these sad eyes

In the distance the seagulls song is never heard
Blending into the oceans
Foamy spray

There is a haunting beauty flowing through your words... how it sings in melancholy echoes. I so miss the sea, and this wondrous work is an enchantment for me.

I like the artwork and the amazing poem. The sea is powerful and dangerous. I like the description. Took me to my favorite place with this excellent poem.

This is sad but beautiful imagery. There is a feeling of loss and being overcome in this poem.
