A bonnie lassie

A bonnie lassie

A Poem by Linear
"

Slightly altered from the original..........Sorry about the pic

"
If the cylinders
That continually turn
Blown by the winds of my mind

Should perchance one day swerve
Move into another realm
A different sky
............
Then when first we met
You were nine and I just ten
Could you, or indeed I, know that one day you would be mine?

If that wind should turn and blow
Will you in your innocence
Still wait for me?

With your bright eyes shining
Bossom heaving
Strong thighs quaking
Forsake all others for me?

For my darling bonnie lassie
You know I love you
No wind could ever
Take me away from you

There's ever a sweetness about young love recalled, this is no exception! However, I smiled at your request for that time again, how your mind works now you're older, ' Strong thighs quaking ~ Forsake all others for me? ' But all around those words, there's a true and tender desire to return .. '.. No wind could ever ~ Take me away from you'

There is the richest, deepest longing that you weave through your words.. that world that cannot be complete with your darling.. one you've known so long.. She's a part of you, and your never want to let go. Powerful yet tender.
