INFERNO

INFERNO

A Poem by Linear
"

Inspired by certain beliefs (not mine) i'm sure you may guess

"
Bound in cobwebs of stainless steel
In fire's of crimson hue's
I await a fate I didn't choose.

In fear and trepidation
Eyes erratic movements
How I wish That the screams of tortured souls I could not hear

Will my own torture stake be to much to carry?
For in the blood and entrails of the slaughtered
There I read my perpectual doom

What use was all my love and hate, that has lead me to this fate?
Can Angels consume the foolish deeds?
Or will Devils disect this once proud heart?

Fire's flare in consumption of so many hopeless souls
Trapped never listening no nor wishing to hear
God I thought I knew it all

Pity the poor and broken down
who had so little chance
Yet the haughty one's shall burn along side this stupid man

So my friend sing out the songs of your own inequity
Scream your innocence, though no one believes the things you say
Face the eternal fire, that fire of destruction, thats waiting

Waiting for both you and me.

"Bound in cobwebs of stainless steel
In fire's of crimson hue's
I await a fate I didn't choose."

a good start for a scary poem.
it's very descriptive and beautifully horrific. nightmare-ish stories of no escape fascinates me. it's hard to write because it requires lots of descriptions and emotions. i actually pictured it in my mind. there is no inequality in hell: rich or poor will be mixed together in the devil's pots and pans.woo.
however, some grammar and spelling were off in some lines.
great read

An ode to the futility of justifying ones existence and the choices made for us, not by us. This was short of (or maybe past) frustrated, but smack dab in the middle of bitter realization. Great writing.

This is so filled with images of horror and woe and destruction and it is frightening.
I do beleive and think there is such an inferno. It does remind me of Dantes Inferno and all the gates of hell he described.. you have a powerful and frightening poem ..
And i agree with imagination101 ' thank God there's a Heaven'..

My favorite book is Dante's Inferno. His description of hell make the hardest of men to think of a better way to live. I like the feel and emotion of this poem. The mystery of life. Where is the next destine place for us? A outstanding poem. Create a lot to think about.
