Kind of sad poem of a lost but never forgotten love
Do you remember that day when you begged me to stay? not that I was ever going to leave you you were so insecure I never left you.
I remember the very first time I layed eyes on you your hair was long, and you tried to hide behind it but your laugh was sweet your smile lit up the room I never left you.
We talked then talked some more, all through so many nights and our love blossomed rose up higher than Angels I never left you.
I remember when we played the violins together and I was lost in your strings I wonder if you ever were lost in mine? from a B Flat to a C Sharp I was never far from you and I never left you
But now as I drink my coffee stare at these bare walls I wonder where you are tonight in who's embrace and do you perhaps ask him, with those same words
Wow! I'm sitting here and am lost for words. Like what would my family think????
Duh! This was so powerful. You have a different way of writing. One I haven't seen before.. I like it! You write with soul, heart, and my Lord, such beautiful music deep with you... I am in awe..
So sweet - a tender read. When a lover reaches out and asks don't ever leave me; they really love you and the vulnerability shows the strength of their comittment to love you...some have too much pride to show this; they trusted that their love was in good hands here just by saying those words...
This is so lovely so tender. I do the same with something that comes into my head if i don't hurry and get it down.. still, with the one slipping away you wrote a beauty..It is so touching.. beautiful.
I really liked this one, It is a wonderfully done poem with a lot of sadness wrapped in it. I like your use of descriptions and the you showed the love for the person.
You truly create the world of these two... their connections and life shared... and the strength to stay. What a sadness swept over me in the final edge of the poetic expression.

Dont worry if the sparrow chirps today,
Tomorrow the Nightingale shall sing
Judge me if you will, not on the words of another who may have their own agenda, but as YOU find me, as YOU .. more..
