Human in Being

Human in Being

A Poem by Linear
"

Peace in any time

"

So what happened

to your brotherhood of man?

When i see the streets

running with blood

And tell if you can

where is the peace you promised

your fellow man?

All i see is hatred

born of greed

So hold out your hands

see them red

see your children shaking in bed

Where will you go

who will you blame

for you must see your all just the same

You cry out for peace while holding a gun

your killing and killing

in your Gods name

Why cant you learn

stop acting like sheep

being led to the slaughter

Your such foolish toys

please start over again

question those orders and stand up like men

Lets all be human

and love

once

again.

This is for sure going in my "favorites" so many amazing images you paint. Sheeps being lead to the slaughter, being real men and questioning what we think is wrong, streets running with blood. This is REALLY a great poem. Thanks for writing it!

Too right!
A great poem love, poignantly so!
We are all in a divide that is not our own, we all need to realise that we are not seperate, we are one!

How sad that someone would actually think for a second God -wants- them to kill... you'd have to ignore everything He's ever said to think so.

Excellent poem, Linear one! What a great, impassioned cry out to humanity to start looking at each other in love.

Very good Linear! If only those people who cause so much trouble could reflect on these words and change their ways.

It is the malicious violence and the domination of other men that makes us resemble animals, but it is the ability to love that unmistakably identifies us as humans. So where has that quality gone? Why does it struggle to emerge in its greatest time of need? Because hate is a quick act of selfishness, and love is developed through selflessness. Excellent poem. Speaks to the heart and mind.
