The Shadows of my Mind

A little spooky

In the tight stringent alleyways of my mind

dark deep pockets lie

 

Creeping the shadows crawl upon my very wall

 

Enclosed within my chest

heart beats thud against my breast

 

Dilated pupils stare

as ghostly spectrals glare

 

Turn Turn Turn

as panic strikes deep

Run Run Run

 

Screaming i awake, sweating from my sleep

 

Panting, chest heaving

I notice

the Shadows crafty grin

vanishing from my wall.

While I feel I can relate to this, sickness of the mind, when I read it from someone else, it comes off as very sensual. Maybe that is just my masochistic side. I love your diction and the fluidity of terror.
