All You Can Be

All You Can Be

A Poem by Linear

In those narrow corridors of your mind
In the dark recesses of frozen time

Did you once think you would be mine?

On all fours you crawl before me,
do you think thats how it should be?

Stand up
Dont lean on me
Hold your head high

For you may see, you are far greater than me.

.
. wow ... brilliantly expressed ... but ... sometimes i think that people lean because it's okay to lean ... particularly when we are injured ... don't you think? ...

I think the format of this is fine. It is a nice concept that you are portraying through your words - trying to get someone to see in themselves what you see in them and to believe in themselves.
Nice writing.
