Rolling Thunders

Rolling Thunders

A Poem by Linear

Rolling Thunders hurt my ears
Time moves on yet still i have many fears

As rain on the desert plain
a thirst not quenched

Time divided by time gives no recompence
Rolling thunders
blow my mind
to spirals within spirals running out of time
colours that blend, mixed with blood
let myself go, come see me run.

Rolling thunders
wont ease this pain
though it may cleanse me in pouring rain
in this agony and shame i will remain

Rolling thunders
come lift me now
I hear your rushing winds on a plateau to hell
dark are your clouds that swirl round me now

For rolling thunders have taken me in

Though its been said
it feels like a highway to hell.

Love the usage of rolling thunders for ongoing effect
Though quite depressing to be cobstantly on this Downward spiral to hell,
It doesn't seem so bad,... Are u partlywelcoming it? Lol

A lot of emotion and struggle in this poem. Living and fighting with rolling thunder would be a wild ride. I like the emotion and strong language in this poem. A outstanding poem.

great work here, i sure love this one! this sounds impressive and strong, just like thunder. while this sure brought to mind a dark, powerful thunderstorm, i was also reminded of a monster truck derby, maybe because the song playing along had those very words "Rolling Thunder". awesome work here!
