Better off without you.

Better off without you.

A Poem by Lindsey:)
"

this one is about my last breakup. i really liked him. but i had to be smart and say you know what im better off without you. nobody likes to be treated like crud.

"

Better off without you.

Things started out amazing.

Me & you everyday.

But then all of a sudden.

You started to slip away.

You were always gone.

You never called.

I always thought we had it all.

But I guess I was wrong.

I'm sad to see what we had is gone.

I gotta stay true.

Your no longer number one.

Never thought we'd end this way.

I guess i'm just trying to say.

I'm better off without you.

For all the tears.

For all those nights.

Waiting by the phone.

Turning on the lights.

And not seeing you there.

I gotta stay strong.

Me and you dont belong.

I'm sad to see what we had is gone.

I gotta stay true.

Your no longer number one.

Never thought we'd end this way.

i guess i'm just trying to say.

I'm better off with you.

I'm through crying.

I'm through trying to make this work.

I'm through waiting on things to change.

It's for the best.

Or maybe a longterm rest.

I'm sad to see what we had is gone.

I gotta stay true.

Your no longer number one.

Never thought we'd end this way.

Now you can find some other girl to play.

I know I'm better off without you.

Things slip away before weve realized there was a problem sometimes. It is sad but we grow and change and learn. I think this poem sums that up pretty well. Well done. I started writing around the same age as you are. It sure helps sort things out, get them out of our head and heart and a good way to look back and remember how much weve gone through and are still strong.
