Im done

Im done

A Poem by Lindsay

Empty
Alone
Suffering

Crying for help
Does anyone hear me?

You just sit there and act like you know everything,
With your happy smile,
And hateful look in your eyes

What happened?
What did I do wrong?

The pain,
The the crying,
And for what?

Nothing
It gets me no where
Im done,

Im done trying to make it better,
Im done with all of the lies,
Im done with the with the aching,

Im done

I think the poem itself is lacking to be honest, because the power lies within the WORDS, not the poem. Does that make sense?
My favorite line: "Does anyone hear me?"
It shows the desperate humanism in your emotions. I saw someone's status today on gmail when I clicked on buzz to get the number to go away. This reminds me of the status. "Being alone? Being abandoned? That's the most human experience."
