Waiting answered at last

PAID OFF PATIENCE

As I waited and waited

It seems that there is no hope

Though my heart screamed

Patience, patience, patience

I had another part

Which patiently said don’t hope

It’s all over, stop it

Then out of the blue came the news

That my patience had been paid off

And here I sit with what I have waited for

On my lap and a smile on my face!!!
