Colors lost or stolen

Colors lost or stolen

A Poem by Linda alexander
"

Losing colors is similar to getting depressed, not able to enjoy anything, which one used to do in it's most prior losing colors

"
Was travelling with bag of colors
Not sure may be stolen purposefully
Even lost may be by random accident
Bag was empty and colors all gone

Not sure when exactly it happened
Hard to walk without these colors
Sky not blue anymore and sun flower not yellow
Sunlight irritating my eyes and ocean simply scares me

Want my colors back desperately
Know for sure it is not easy as I think
Do not even mind borrowing some of yours
So hard to walk without colors

Here, I'll give you some green, if you'd like.
Nice poem, really like the idea here, and I'm sorry you get depressed, that's something I deal with too sometimes
Be careful that you do not place too many sentence fragments near each other, and also of punctuation
I like the concept of bagged colors, the colors representing emotions. Common theme amongst poetry, uniquely done here. Way to go!

This is my favorite of yours thus. The title caught me immediately and the poem certainly did it justice.

The depth is incredibly awakening. I am smiling and thanking God for the blessing of color. Thank you Linda :)

100 shades of blue :)

Hey the more the merrier..........
Colors bring vibrancy and choices instead of just black and white. I love color(s) especially in the spring and early fall when the leaves change. Now emotions can be black or white or we can add color to them...A wonderful poem...:).........
