The snow drenched tree of February

The snow drenched tree of February

A Poem by Linda alexander
"

I loved the one particular snow drenched tree of February almost ten twelve years prior, it is staying in front of my eyes as an evergreen memory.

"
It was February, most scary months for the automobile accidents
I was at work, every one complaining of the big snow storm
I had the ride back and forth from work
I live fifteen minutes walking distance from my work place
I looked through the window, and I was so happy
The x'mas tree pattern like trees in the pathway
It was beautiful and so natural
They were fully drenched in thick and fluffy snow
The tree branches were almost hanging down as if the snow is trying to accumulate more
It was white x'mas trees all over
This one particular tree among them staying with me forever
The one not huge, not small, an average size
The one not perfect but almost in perfect shape
My tree stood there for me in front of my eyes
Even if winter gone, it simply stayed
It is my tree now, my own forever
Hey, beautiful snow drenched tree of February
Thank you for staying for me and with same beauty
You are the apple of my eye every time I look through the window
It does not matter, it is summer, winter or fall
You stood there for me the way I liked you in front of my eyes
