The flood time prayer

The flood time prayer

A Poem by Linda alexander
"

Once in a while life takes the form of floods, this poem dedicated for everyone who experienced floods in life

"
The flood is so destructive
It engulfed all the nice houses on the bank
The boats, cars, parks all gone
Even the emotions of the humans also drained
I am waiting everything to be settled again
I am waiting for the calmness
I am waiting for the organized life
I  am waiting, waiting, waiting
I do not want to leave stage before it all happen
I want my grandchildren raised in the most calm environment
I want my children successful
I want my life as a vibrant melody
I am waiting and waiting
I have plans to do after this flood
I just need to survive at this moment
I will manage things later on
God please help me to manage the current moment
