The distended vein of nurse's neckA Poem by Linda alexanderNursing as a career is great, the wear and tear to nurse when she cares children as her on goes a long way
I am seeing it for the last two decades
I alwas wondered whether it will pop I can't understand why it is happening again and again I know now there is a huge heart behind that vein A heart of a mother, or a woman I am worried about those hearts Perhaps it may stop few years earlier than it should be She is not stopping, pounding at somebody's heart She is not yelling, searching for means to save that kid She says aloud, we are saving the lives She is calm, efficient, running that extra mile always hello, can you stop , for a hug Do not leave this world early We need you for our kids Here, receive my big salute to you
