It's Hot

It's Hot

A Poem by Donald Meikle
"

July 2nd

"

It's hot

Not too hot for the flies and skitters

The asparagus is just about done

Independence Day after tomorrow

The pool is open and ready

The gardens are competing with the lawns for attention

The deck table needs its awning

We forgot the porch awning this morning

Need margarita mix, wine, and something else

It's hot

Have a very happy Independence Day Donald! You seem like you have everything under control. Hope the weather cools down a bit for you!
